Zooming in on marriage practices

In April 2020 April Professor Rebecca Probert gave talks on her research on the history of marriage to Exeter U3A (University of the Third Age) and the Kenilworth Family History. The former was part of the U3A’s University Liaison Project. Both talks were delivered by Zoom, and between them over 100 persons attended, including individuals from Dublin, Jersey and Australia! Both generated a lively discussion, with individuals sharing examples of interesting marriages from their own research.
