Join the Safe and SuRe team from the University of Exeter’s Centre for Water Systems for this special event. Network with Exeter alumni, friends and industry contacts over drinks and Ottolenghi canapés, whilst hearing from leading academics who are instrumental in developing sustainable and resilient solutions for urban water management at a time of global uncertainty.
Professor David Butler will give an informal update on the Safe and SuRe team, which promotes new thinking and new approaches to water management in cityscapes to meet global challenges. David will explore how the team of researchers are developing new paradigms so that existing urban water systems can be better used, managed, regulated, planned, operated, rehabilitated, retrofitted and redesigned to cope with global uncertainties. The team will be available on the evening to showcase their research from the EPSRC-funded £1.5 million fellowship.
