ExeterEnergy is launching a monthly lunchtime seminar series

ExeterEnergy is launching a monthly lunchtime seminar series under the theme of ‘Making Sense of Sustainable Energy Systems’. 

Starting on Wednesday Feb 13^th 2019, the series will showcase the breath of energy research being undertaken at the university, and to bring together researchers from both Streatham and Cornwall campuses.

This seminar series will provide the unique opportunity for researchers from multiple disciplines to get together and share their ideas about how to address the challenges associated with transitioning to a low carbon energy system. This will draw on current research from across a number of fields, including engineering, law, mathematics, economics, philosophy and the wider social sciences.

We are looking for early stage career researchers or postgraduate researchers to present their research to an multidisciplinary audience on either campus on the following dates at 1-2pm: 13th Feb, 13th Mar, 27th Mar, 10th Apr, 8th May or 5th Jun. This will provide an opportunity to explore how your research fits in with the wider challenge of understanding and facilitating change towards more sustainable energy systems.

Travel grants are available for those Penryn students wishing to present their work and interact with research groups in Streatham, and vice versa. If you are interested in presenting your work, or want to find out more, please contact Gemma Delafield (g.delafield@exeter.ac.uk).
