Kingsley Abbott gives speech on human rights and the rule of law in south-east Asia

Kingsley Abbott, Senior International Legal Adviser with the International Commission of Jurists and an Associate Member of the Human Rights and Democracy Forum, gave a keynote speech on human rights and the rule of law in Asia at the Asia News Network annual symposium in Bangkok on 16^th March. Delivered to an audience of 300 diplomats, business leaders and academics, the speech reflected on the importance of human rights and the rule of law, and on current threats to their survival in the south-east Asian region.
