Natalie Sedacca speaks at ‘Challenging border landscapes’ webinar

On 2 March 2021 Natalie Sedacca spoke at ‘Challenging border landscapes: the human realities for women and families’, a webinar organised by Oxford Against Immigration Detention as part of the Oxford International Women’s Festival 2021. Drawing on her research, Natalie spoke about how the hostile border regime makes migrant domestic workers vulnerable to becoming undocumented and pushes them into exploitative situations. The webinar was chaired by Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP and speakers included families affected by (threatened) deportations as well as lawyers and academics.
