We are delighted to announce that IDSAI Research Fellow, Charlie Kirkwood was recently invited to give a lecture on the topic of AI for Geological Mapping to EuroGeoSurveys, which is a consortium of all the national geological surveys in Europe. Charlie had an online audience of 116 experts, including directors of the geological surveys of various European countries. Charlie said "I couldn’t really hope to have a more influential audience for the work, and it is just possible that the lecture may prove to be a turning point in the history of geological mapping, which would be amazing".
