A response to the Defra Consultation

In the run-up to Brexit, the Government has published a consultation document, feeding into the development of new agricultural policy and proposing the most radical change between farming and the environment for more than four decades.

LEEP researchers have prepared a response available here to this consultation exercise, which is prefaced by a general overview of the key challenges, which any new policy will have to address.
