EPSRC Hub for Quantitative Modelling in Healthcare launched
In February 2021 we launched the EPSRC Hub for Quantitative Modelling in Healthcare.
The opening address was given by Neil Gow, DVC Research and Impact followed by presentations from Kate Reading (Portfolio Manager, Healthcare Technologies, EPSRC) about the Healthcare Technologies theme and the new EPSRC open fellowships; an introduction to the Hub by Professor Tsaneva-Atanasova; and talks by our Hub’s postdoctoral research fellows, Emily Wood and Evan Baker.
Our new Hub brings together the multi-disciplinary research activities at the interface between mathematics, statistics and healthcare applications at the University of Exeter and our partners. It uses the breadth of theoretical and methodological expertise of the Hub's team to give innovative approaches to both research and translational aspects.
