Anthony Vale in Routes event on ‘Issues in US Immigration Law’

Earlier this month, Routes welcomed Anthony (Tony) Vale for an extra special event on ‘Issues in US Immigration Law’.

US immigration law is in rapid flux. The Biden presidency has already seen much change, mimicking (at least in form if not in substance) the experience during both the Trump and Obama terms. Presidential orders have been many, but so have the legal challenges.

In this extra special Routes event, Tony Vale presented a thorough and holistic exploration of US immigration law – past, present and future. Pitched at both the macro and the micro levels, Tony drew on his experience as a legal practitioner to contextualise and humanise the impacts of rapid changes in US immigration law and policy.
