Social mobility research to be showcased by Centre members

Current research projects at the Centre for Social Mobility are set to be showcased in a series of presentations by academic members on November 27th.

'An introduction to Research in the Centre for Social Mobility' will be held from 1-2.30pm at Tuesday, 27th November at St Luke's Campus, the home of the Graduate School of Education.

There will be talks on social stratification in parenting values and involvement, transforming transitions, religious and legal education, contextual admissions and evaluating outreach, hidden curriculum at Exeter and safeguarding BAME students.

Centre co-director Dr Anna Mountford-Zimdars said: "There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss the current projects and research ambitions and to think about ways to get involved in the centre. After the formal discussion in the lecture, there will be an opportunity to continue the conversation over tea and coffee."

The lecture will be streamed live and also be recorded.  The link to the recording will be made available via the event details web page.
