Organiser James Marshall commented: “Getting the most out of training is incredibly important for athletes looking to take their sport to the next level. Our sessions aim to offer practical advice to young people that they can away with them and to work into their daily routine, not matter what sport they take part in.
“The sessions are designed to be beneficial to athletes in all sports, the only criteria for entry being that players must regularly take part in two sports.”
Excelsior has an impressive record of performance training with Paralympians, international athletes and the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Academy all benefitting from their support.
James added “The University of Exeter have recognised the need for quality support and advice for young people who are aspiring to join their High Performance Programme. That is why they have kindly supported the Athletic Development Centre. The facilities at the Sports Park are ideal for this kind of training and when millimetres and split seconds separate champions from the ‘Also rans’ it’s important that those with serious intent have specific advice, support and guidance with their Athletic Development programmes. ”
The four hour session will take place on Tuesday 16 July at the Sports Park. For further information contact James Marshall at james@excelsiorgroup.co.uk
