Bradbury performs in Argentinian Open

University of Exeter Golf Scholar Katie Bradbury has finished an impressive 20th in the Argentinian Women’s Open.

Playing at the Hurlingham Club, Buenos Aires from 12-14 December, Bradbury shot 80, 71 and 82 against a highly competitive field of both professionals and amateurs.

Specially selected for the tournament by golf’s national governing body the R&A, she partnered fellow R&A Scholar Paula Grant in a two player team from the United Kingdom.

On Friday 13 December, the pair enjoyed a five shot victory against the Argentinian Golf Association at the Copa Freddy Zorraquim in preparation for the individual event.

A regular competitor for the Senior Wales international squad, Bradbury celebrated success in 2013 with the University of Exeter Golf Club, winning both the Premier League and the National Championship.
