The men's winners of the tournament
LTA British Tennis Tour Grade 2 event
The tournament is part of the LTA British Tour (Tier 2) schedule and is one level below the step on the rung of World Ranking events. The tournament was open to players with world rankings and was over-subscribed with players.
Will McNally, Director of Tennis at the University’s Tennis Centre commented, “Hosting this tournament reiterates our commitment to excellence in tennis and it was great to see some highly competitive tennis on show. Indeed players from Exeter Tennis Centre competed with sterling effort and reflects how hard our players work.”

The men’s event was one by Andrew Bettles, number one seed, defeating Evan Hoyt in the final 0-6, 6-4, 6-0. Andrew only lost one set all tournament!
The women’s event saw Grace Dixon, number seven seed and Ceire Mullins meet in the final with Grace producing a great all round tournament to win 6-4, 6-4.
