Back-row forward Skinner made his 20s debut against Italy at Plymouth earlier this month

Exeter duo in England U20 triumph

Ireland sat top of the Under 20 Six Nations table, but despite a strong start from the home side, England grabbed second half tries and erased Ireland's 9-6 interval lead to a 19-14 win. England now join them at the top of the Championship table with two wins from three.

Skinner commented: “It was a hard fought game that had a lot riding on it. We were all really pleased to get the result as Ireland is not an easy place to go to”.

Head Coach Jon Callard said: “I’m hugely proud of the lads – they put in an excellent performance and fully deserved the win. Ireland were physical and they were a constant threat throughout, but we showed real character and I’m delighted with the way we held firm and got the victory.” See more on the Chiefs website

Both players were also part of the recent rugby varsity 41-0 win against Bath and quarter final win against Northumbria, with high hopes towards semi-finals against Loughborough next week.
