Ella is currently playing for Swansea, with Millie and Emily representing UoE during the week and ISCA in the national league on the weekends. All three have gone/ going through Exeter's hockey high performance programme.
After her Premier League debut at 15, and a first international cap at 18, Millie has already made a name for herself within the Welsh squad and is aiming to play in the 2022 commonwealth games. Millie is in her first year at UoE, studying Mechanical Engineering with Year in Industry (BENG) alongside the HHP.
Now in her final year at Exeter, Emily will graduate in 2022 with a BSC, Psychology with Sport and Exercise Science. She will be hoping to receive her first international senior cap in the World Cup Qualifiers and the Commonwealth Games this summer.
University of Exeter’s woman's hockey coach, Matt Way couldn’t be happier for his performance athletes. When speaking to him about the selection, he expressed that:
“We are delighted that Emily and Millie have been selected to compete on the International stage. This speaks volumes to their maturity in balancing the demands of a senior international programme and academic commitments. We wish them well and will follow their progress closely”
