The Students’ Green Unit is here to empower students to set up their own change-making sustainability projects

Go Green Week 2017 is here

The Student Guild's Sustainability Council have teamed up with student societies, academics & the local community to launch the 2017 Go Green Week.

The 5-day event will offer a jam-packed programme of events and activities around sustainability and the environment. Go Green Week will take place from 13 - 17 March 2017 on the Streatham Campus.

The aim of the week is to raise awareness of environmental issues and share some nifty tips to green your life. Join Karen Gallagher, the University's Environment and Sustainability Adviser, on the Jubilee Water Walk and find out more about the water bodies and features on our campus. Bring your bike in for a free service and get some tips on bike maintenance and safety. Why not explore the community garden, meet the team and help sow some seeds (mud-proof foot wear advised)?

The Fashion Society will be hosting a clothes swap, the Model UN Society will be holding a summit on animal trafficking and the Be the Change society will be hosting an inspiring sustainability panel debate.

Date: 14 March 2017
