EUPC Winter Nationals Success
We get to celebrate more success from one of our Athletic Union clubs. Polo had great success at the Winter Nationals in February, and Posy Coode (Publicity secrutary) tells us all about it:
"During the cold, wintery start to February, Exeter Polo Club took on Universities from all over the country in the Polo Winter National Tournament. With 15 teams from Exeter going, we had high hopes to place well across the board, and by Sunday we did not disappoint. To finish the weekend on a high, the Intermediate team, consisting of Nathalie Hyman, Zac Campbell-Breeden and Victoria Schneider, came first in their division. They played matches against some very tough opposition but made it out on top in the end! We were also very impressed and proud of all our teams in the Beginner division, who, having never played a competitive match against another team before, played incredibly well and really enjoyed the weekend, all placing highly in their separate divisions. Overall, we are so happy with how EUPC performed at this Winter Nationals and how everyone supported every single team, no matter whether it was bitter weather or sunshine. We cannot wait for Summer to come around so we can do Nationals all over again then!"
