Michael Molster appointed Head of Lacrosse
University of Exeter Sport are excited to announce our newest appointment to the Performance Team, Michael Molster. He will join us in the New Year as the Head of Lacrosse.
Michael has been coaching within the England programmes for a number of years and has recently been appointed as England’s Head Women’s Coach, strengthening University of Exeter’s relationship with England Lacrosse.
Michael will be bringing 30 years of coaching experience to the programme, gained during his time at three NCAA Division 1 colleges. He found huge success at Towson, where he developed the team’s defence into one of the best in the States.
Relocating from the US to Exeter for the role, Michael is looking forward to this new opportunity and commented,
“I want to thank the University of Exeter. I look to build upon the already successful programmes at Exeter and continue the tradition of excellence of Performance Sports. Along with my role as England National Team Head Coach, I also hope to attract some of the best lacrosse talent from across the UK to the University. My family and I are incredibly grateful and excited to relocate from the US to the Exeter area."
